I've always considered myself a forest girl, happiest among towering trees and lush green landscapes. But when we visited Death Valley National Park in 2025, I fell head over heels for the desert! From the vast salt flats of Badwater Basin to the colorful hills of Artist's Palette, the sweeping views from Dante's View, and the golden dunes of Mesquite Flat, I was captivated by the park's unexpected beauty. Who knew a forest girl could fall so hard for a place with so few trees?

This layered wood ornament is laser cut, finished, and assembled by me here in Oregon.
